District Computer Use Policy
A reminder to all students: According to the district’s computer policy, you are not permitted to use a proxy server or access inappropriate non-educational sites such as MySpace. If you attempt to use a proxy server to access the internet, you will lose your computer privileges and face disciplinary consequences. Remember:
All student computer usage is tracked and monitored on a daily basis.
Mousetrap Car Project - Due May 31, 2011 - Given to students on 3/10/11
To place an assignment into Mr. Rita's "Drop Folder".
Save your document with "Chapter number & Assignment - First 3 letters of your last name(s)"
for example, 11VocFalKon"
1. Click on My Computer
2. Click on HS-Template on '10.36.3.10'
3. Find the folder titled Rita
4. On your desk top, open "My Documents"
5. Drag and Drop your document into the "Drop Folder".
Once you drop it into this folder, you cannot get it back out.
How to create a Google Docs account
- Go to docs.google.com and find the video, "Google Docs in Plain English"
- Watch the video and then click "Get Started"
- Fill out the form. You must choose a secure password - so write it down if it's different from your usual password
- At home verify your account by checking your email
- Create a new document to complete the assignment given in class.
- When complete either, print the document, or share it with your teacher by clicking the sare button and typing in his/her email address.
